Project details
The protected Oasis of Nabq is a valuable protected area located in the Ras Mohammed National Park: a long strip of sand caught between the mountains and the water where big birds of prey, like the sea hawk, come to nest. It is inhabited by a small Bedouin community that depends for its survival on what it can hunt nearby. After having registered how these people spend their everyday life, we set out to explore the desert with Tiran Island behind us we head for the mountain ranges that encircle the extreme end of the Sinai desert, Ras Mohammed. A panorama of the environmental ecosystems on land, before diving down to film one of the most biologically important underwater areas in the Red Sea.
