The Happy Island

PandatariafilmThe Happy Island

Project details

French Polynesia has become one of the most exotic destinations for travellers all over the world, especially after the film “The Mutiny on the Bounty”, with the incomparable Marlon Brando. A great many scenes from the film were shot on Mo’orea, which is exactly where we are headed. Mo’orea is an island of volcanic origin surrounded by wide coral reefs. Manta rays and black-tip reef sharks are the most exciting specimen that underwater divers, always in search of a new adventure, can hope to meet. White sandy beaches protected by high mountains and lapped by crystal clear water are the ideal location for tourist residences and hotels built in the traditional style. These exotic islands continue to enchant travellers just as they did at the time of “Bounty”, bewitching them to such an extent that they never want to leave.
